Yoga Schedule

Well, Jon Snow has been warning us for years, but the shift in the weather into autumn has been unmistakeable this past few weeks. To stay aligned with the seasons, at Rebel Monk we’re shifting to a new winter timetable starting Monday 13th May 2019.

The biggest changes are to our weekday morning yoga classes in our Hawthorn studio, where we’ve amalgamated the 6.00am and 7.30am classes into a single 6.30am class. Sorry for those that’ll need to get out of bed a bit earlier, but we’re trying to offer the morning class early enough that most people can still make it to work after a 7.30am finish.

We’re also introducing a new Community Yoga class, but that won’t start until Wednesday 29th May. This is a donation-based Water Flow yoga class with all proceeds going to the Koala Kids Foundation (www.koalakids.org.au), making a difference to the lives of children and young people undergoing cancer treatment and their families and staff who care for them in hospital. These classes are taught by newly graduated teachers on our Mentorship Programme, under the guidance of our senior teachers. Booking is still via our app but donations are taken after class (cash only).

And don’t worry about winter in the studio, we’ll just turn up the heat to keep it toasty no matter what the weather is doing outside.
